Bikaner was established by Prince Bika Rathore after whom it was named. The magnificant forts, palaces, colourful bazaars, cheerful folks makes it interesting. The Junagarh Fort, Palace, Karni Mata Temple Gajner, Lalbagh Palace, Golden Jublee Museum, Kolayat and the archaeological site at Kalibangan are worth seeing. Bikaner is famous for its camel hide leather work, woollen & leather embroidary, carpets and blankets.
