This is the official summer residence of sir Donald field, chief minister of the princely state of Jodhpur. It is still with the maharajah of Jodhpur and is available to tourists and other holiday makers. Connaught house is well maintained. New rooms have been added to the old cottages. It's secluded location gives complete privacy to the visitor. The main market place and the famous Nakki lake are within walking distance. The place is ideal for leisure activities. Guests are encouraged to spend their time just relaxing and doing nothing.
