Jaipur created by Jai Singh after whom it was named in 1727.Its most striking feature is pink wash giving it a universal title 'Pink City'.

City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal.Outside the walled city are Niwas Garden ,Albert Hall Museum, the Rasm Maharani Ki Chhatri, Gaitor Mahal, Gaitor, Vidyadhar Garden and Sisodia Rani Palace, Forts of Amer, Nahargarh and Jaigarh.

Jaipur is famous for its blue pottery, carpets engraved brassware, silver jewellery, jutis(slipers), leather embroidary,ivory items etc.
