Sariska in Rajasthan, the erst while royal
preserve of the rulers of Alwar became santuary in 1958. It is
situated 107 kms from Jaipur and 200 kms from Delhi. The Santuary is
in wooded valley surrounded by barren mountains. It has blue bulls,
sambar, spotted deer, wild boar,leapord jackel and above all tigers.
The santuary can be visited year-round, except during July/August.
Best time to visit santuary is June & November.

SARISKA
PALACE - SARISKA RAJASTHAN
The entrance to the sanctuary is the imposing Sariska palace. Built
at the close of 19th century by Maharajah Jai Singh of Alwar, this palace
was originally a royal hunting lodge. Conveniently located 199 kms from
